About Me

I come from Italian and Filipino roots, raised in a home where faith, family, and food were inseparable. My grandmother’s kitchen often felt like a chapel because it was filled with prayerful silence, stories, and meals made with intention. Childhood taught me to observe closely and listen deeply. Education became the place where discipline met curiosity. Sports taught me humility, perseverance, and resilience. My early faith revealed that service, sacrifice, and grace belong together.

My world widened during Semester at Sea in 2012, when I encountered cultures that expanded my understanding of God’s presence in both familiar routines and unfamiliar horizons. Becoming a teacher felt like the natural continuation of that journey. As a Special Education educator, shaped by a Masters in Educational Administration, I have learned that the classroom is a mission field rooted in patience, compassion, dignity, and steady consistency.

My students helped awaken the call to write Hazardous Travels, a memoir formed through years of reflection, loss, travel, prayer, and growth. Through writing and speaking, my hope is simple. I want to help others notice grace in their own stories and to show that God works quietly within every chapter of ordinary life.

A Book With a Mission!

Hazardous Travels was never meant to be just a book. From the beginning, it grew out of a desire to honor the gifts God has given men and to serve others in a meaningful way. Because of that, 50% of all author profits from this series will be be donated to charitable organizations that reflect the heart of the story: compassion, dignity and hope.

This project is about more than just sharing a memoir: it's about building something that continues giving long after the last page is read. I want every copy to become an act of service. My prayer is that these stories not only inspire readers, but also help make a real difference in the world.
