Hazardous Travels

A Guide to Forming Faith, Conscience, and Purpose in Ordinary Life

(Currently in final professional editing and active parish pilot across Orange County)

Hazardous Travels is a narrative-driven Catholic formation book that explores how faith and conscience are formed in the middle of real life—through classrooms, relationships, setbacks, and ordinary decisions.

Rather than starting with abstract ideas, the book allows meaning to emerge through lived experience, helping readers recognize how God has been forming them all along.

With built-in reflection and discussion, it is designed for both individual reading and small group formation, especially for young adults and men navigating life after major transitions.

Why This Book Matters?

"Hazardous Travels is clear, engaging, and deeply moving. It's blend of story, Scripture, reflection, and journaling offers an excellent way to transmit the faith and lead readers closer to Christ."

-Deacon Tom Saenz

(Director of the Office of the Permanent Diaconate for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange)

Experience & Background

Faith is not formed only in classrooms, churches, or books. More often, it is formed through the ordinary experiences that shape who we become—within family life, work, service, suffering, and everyday responsibility.

Coming from a family of educators, I saw early that conscience, character, and purpose are often formed long before we fully recognize it. For more than a decade, I have worked to help students, families, and faith communities recognize those moments and live them with greater intention.

Through education, writing, and speaking, I help people reflect deeply, lead faithfully, and live with greater purpose.
